Heroes Gala raises $240,000 to fight epilepsy

The Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago honored its brightest stars at the 25th annual Heroes gala held inside Chicago’s Field Museum main hall on September 23. Emceed by sports personality Michael “Mike” Adamle, the evening was attended by 320 supporters, made up of patients, doctors, caregivers and friends, who all turned out to help raise funds and awareness, as well as fête Dr. Jeffrey A. Loeb, M.D., Ph.D., for receiving the Richard N. Rovner Hero Award. The event raised $240,000 for EFGC.
